Well the year is winding down to Playoff Season.....some of your teams made it, some didn't...THAT'S SPORTS!!!

In addition to Playoffs, the time of year for College Coaches to contact you is fast approaching as well.....November 25th begins that period!!!! So....pay attention to the following tips:

IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE PLAYOFFS:

1. stay in game shape....coaches may come to your h.s. coach to ask about you and to SEE YOU kick!

2. see below about your resume and Highlight video....the same rules apply....have them ready should a Coach come to your H.S. to ask about you!!

IF YOU ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS

1. photocopy your resume onto decent quality photo paper; make copies of your highlight videos and have them in envelopes with your contact info written out clearly

2. have your family keep copies in a folder, while at your practices and Playoff games

3. look for College Coaches observing these practices and games

4. have Mom or Dad approach Coaches politely (remember: these coaches are WORKING; observing possible recruits)

5.have parent offer a copy of the resume and video to the coach explaining that you are in the game, and have hopes of playing in College

6. THANK THE COACH.....THEN LEAVE!!!!

P.S. if the coach wants more info he will ask for it...then of course,Mom or Dad should stay and answer his questions!!!

When you get into College as a kicker/punter, Coach Crocker and I MUST be given GREAT seats to all your BOWL GAMES!!!!
