Aaron Chambers Field Goal Sequence

              1                             2                             3                             4                           5

1---Good posture at initiation.  Carries chest forward.  Would like to see slightly more arch in Aaron's back.  We want Aaron to carry a few pounds more forward in his chest.

2---Aaron is a bit too upright too early.  Overall good form to this point.  We would like to see Aaron stil carrying chest weight more forward with slight arch in his back.  Also, although you can't see from this sequence, Aaron has a tendency to simply raise his left arm.  You can see in this frame that his left arm is up and out.  We would like to see Aaron load up his hips a bit more by making sure he raises his elbow more in front of his chest and not to the side.  This will torque his hips more and really powerize them.

3---Again, correcting Aaron in this frame is really forcing us to evaluate detail.  When Aaron came up a bit early in frame 2, he set himself up for a heavy crunch at impact.  We would like to raise his torso just a bit in this frame.  His approach posture modification will do that for him.  Aaron's inside arm is in perfect position.  We want it straight down the target line.  He has done that.  Also, you can see from frame 1 to 3, that Aaron's inside arm raises initialy and never pumps.  His inside arm control gave him lots of stability.  Young kickers have to learn to eliminate the inside arm pump as much as possible.  Aaron has good extension and leg lock after contact.  His head is in perfect position.  Also, the recoil of his left arm is perfect.  It is not too high and it is not at his side.  Aaron has clearly torqued through this kick.

4---In frame 4, you can see Aaron's follow through is straight down the target line.  His shoulders are high and his 'in your face' point is right down the target line.  This tells us that his inside shoulder was held back by his great inside arm position at impact.

5---Aaron stays relaxed as he finishes his sequence.  There is no way this ball could have done anything but go dead center!

OVERALL....VERY NICE KICK.
