Frame #002 Analysis: In this interval, you can see something that is obvious when watching you kick on the field. That is, that your approach is ‘c’ shaped. In other words, instead of taking a path that is perfectly straight toward the plant spot, you veer off to the right with your first step causing you to approach the ball from directly behind it. Notice in this picture how far to the right you are. You still have not planted. When you plant, as you will see in the next shots, you can only raise your leg straight up. There is no whip effect because your hips did not initiate your leg swing. |
